6 Steps to
Copywriting Magic for Moms and Women

Woman blowing into her hands with sparks flying out.

If you haven’t worked with me before, it’s an easy process.

Step 1

We begin by putting together a detailed copywriting brief to identify what's important to you and what you need your investment to achieve. This is where I try to bottle your passion and voice so I can recreate it in your copy.

The copywriting brief will also cover the details of your product/service, your offer, and the hurdles your target market faces during decision-making.

This is a crucial stage in the copywriting process as a great brief is a solid foundation for the copy to come.

Step 2

You edit the brief with any additions or corrections and send it back with your approval. This is when I confirm the prices included in this proposal since it can clarify the scope of the project (and only what we thought we knew before).

Step 3

Writing. Writing. Writing.

Step 4

I present you with the first draft (in full or a section). It’s much harder (and costlier) to change the style later in the process, and this draft helps make sure I’m on the right track.

Your project invoice will be issued with the first draft, but your project always has a priority in my calendar while we’re finalizing revisions.

Step 5

We work through any revisions. You have two rounds of revisions, so there is plenty of scope to produce a final draft that will lead to a new phase of marketing for your business.

Step 6

When the revisions are complete, I’ll send you a project approval form while I get your copy proofread. No one likes banishing credibility-busting typos quite like proofreaders!

When the invoice is paid, the proofread copy is yours to use!
